If you are arriving into Marble Arch tube station, exit onto Park Lane and walk Southbound. We will congregate on the pavement between Green Street and Wood’s Mews.
We will set off at 2:15pm, marching down Park Lane and turning left onto Piccadilly. We will walk down Piccadilly and turn right into Haymarket, then left onto Pall Mall East before arriving into Trafalgar Square at the South West side around 3pm.
Important info
- There are no public toilets on the march route but there are some in Trafalgar Square. The nearest public toilets to the start point are a short walk away in Hyde Park or Green Park.
- If you’re not able to walk the route you can meet at Trafalgar Square from 3pm where we will have a celebration service once the procession arrives. There is some seating around the square that you can use if you can’t stand.
- If you are a wheelchair user there will be a designated space for you just in front of the stage.
- There is a meeting point near Trafalgar Square at the front steps of St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, WC2N 4JH, in case you become separated from your group during the march.
- Should you injure yourself, feel ill, or require emergency first aid during the march or at Trafalgar Square, please ask your group first aider if you have one. If not, look for a green first aid flag, or ask your nearest steward to radio the First Aid Team.
- At Trafalgar Square there are ambulances to ensure everyone’s safety.

There will be BSL interpreting during the celebration service in Trafalgar Square.
Our theme
This march is the perfect celebration of Pentecost: the out-pouring of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the church as we read in Acts 2. The 120 people in the upper room spilled out on to the streets and filled the city with celebration, salvation and great joy. The promise of Jesus had come true – that He is with us in this church age in which we live.
With this in mind, the Jesus March programme for 2026 is built around chapter 19 of the gospel of Luke – the arrival of Jesus into the city. The chapter begins with the story of one man, Zaccheus, who received salvation and was so transformed that he changed his whole life. It was a true celebration on the streets, full of joy and singing. Hearts were overflowing with gratitude for all the healing, teaching and love that Jesus had brought. They laid down coats in the street out of reverence and honour to Jesus. The children sang so loud that people complained, but Jesus replied, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them’.
At the centre of all this energy and jubilation was Jesus Himself. The Lord of all creation, the Son of God, chose to arrive riding on a humble donkey and allowing His worshippers to draw up close and touch His eternal glory. So glorious, yet so close; so deeply moved by the reality of human life that He wept over the city in compassion and prayer.
This is our God! As we move through the next couple of hours we will pick up many of these themes and allow the very person of Jesus to define our every step. This is His march, and we are on the move with Him by His Holy Spirit.
Safety information
Please ensure you are aware of who is in your group and look out for each other. Follow the directions of the stewards, marshalls, police and security. Please walk at a steady pace and don’t stop suddenly. If you need to stop, please be aware of who is around you and step to one side.
Take a moment to check the back page of this booklet and note the emergency contact phone number. If you’re unsure about anything, speak to a steward who can advise you or radio for help.
In case of hot weather, please keep yourself hydrated and wear a hat. If it rains, please be careful as the pavements and streets will become slippery.
Should you injure yourself, feel ill, or require emergency first aid during the march or at Trafalgar Square, please ask your group first aider if you have one. If not, look for a green first aid flag, or ask your nearest steward to radio the First Aid Team.
Please do not bring or use your own camping chairs. There is a limited amount of seating available in Trafalgar Square for those with mobility challenges. This will be allocated on a first-come basis.
Safeguarding information
Parents and guardians, keep your children close to you at all times. We advise writing your name and mobile number on a white wristband and putting it on each child. These can be obtained from stewards at the start point. Take a photo of your child before the march (i.e. now!) in case you become separated. If you become separated from your child, find the nearest steward who will radio the Response Team.
Please don’t take photos or videos of children or young people without permission from their parent/guardian.
There is a Designated Safeguarding Response Officer who is available throughout the march and at Trafalgar Square. To report any safeguarding concerns, please find your nearest steward who will radio the Safeguarding Response Officer.
